A Message from the Principal
and Assistant Principal

Welcome to St. Philip School!

“Thus the Lord asks of us, and only thus: to act justly, to love tenderly, and to walk humbly with our God.” (Micah 6:8)

The education of our children is our most important mission as parents. As Catholic parents, the most fundamental aspect of that mission is catechesis, or the education of our children in the faith. The task of choosing a school partner to assist with catechesis is often a difficult one.

Mrs. Darlene Walsh and Mrs. Patt McCormick

According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, “the word ‘catholic’ means ‘universal,’ in the sense of ‘according to the totality’ or ‘in keeping with the whole.’” Understanding that true education is a lifelong endeavor that encompasses the whole person – academically, physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually – St. Philip School strives to educate the whole child. We are called to assist parents in providing the direction their children need as they begin a lifelong journey to “the Love that never ends,” and we seek to accomplish this in the most nurturing, yet challenging educational environment possible.

As you visit within these web pages, we pray that you are confident about the choice of St. Philip School as your educational partner. Feel free to contact us at any time with any questions you may have about our mission or programs. Thank you for choosing St. Philip School – let us “walk humbly” together!

In His Light,

Darlene A. Walsh, Principal
Patt McCormick, Assistant Principal
